January 2015 Family Bonding - Caleruega
Hi Everyone!
When you look at your life, the greatest happinesses are family happinesses. ~Joyce Brothers
As a mommy, my goal is for Familia Bareza to create lasting memories together. Memories which when we look back in our lives will bring smile and warmth in our hearts.
My plan for 2015 is to have monthly family bonding activities where we can hang-out with each other, and enjoy each other's company. It does not have to be an expensive getaway. It can be as affordable as having a Barbecue Day outdoors! Well, Daddy has not agreed on this yet, but I am sure he'll be supportive of my endeavor. Haha!
For this month of January, Daddy and Mommy decided to go on a day trip to Caleruega. Our last visit here was 3 years ago. How time flies! We now visited with Sofia. Mama Dolly decided to stay with us for the weekend, so she came along with us.
We went there last Saturday, and it took us almost an hour to get there from General Trias, Cavite. The weather was perfect! Not too much sun, and the wind is a bit chilly. It felt like we were in Tagaytay.
There was limited free parking within Caleruega. The entrance fee per person went up from Php20.00 to Php30.00 which was okay since the place was worth it. It allowed its visitors to relax, and there was no better way to relax than by being close to nature.
We had a picnic set-up on the grounds. There were picnic tables there which cost Php250.00 per usage, but we decided to lay our picnic blankets, remove our shoes and sit on the ground.
After having lunch and relaxing, we toured the place. There were churches, gardens, and greens! What a way to relax and have fun. We surely did make lasting memories as a family.
Live, Love, Laugh with Family!
