Welcome Baby Jacob!

Hi Everyone,

Aaaaaaand I'm back!

Let me introduce you to the newest member of our family... Jacob.

Isn't he cute? He looks very much like his Daddy. He is more than a month old already. My scheduled CS operation was January 30, but I was admitted January 29 early morning because I already had contractions around 4AM. I gave birth in the afternoon. Night of January 28, my mother-in-law and husband were discussing about how a child's astrological sign is altered if he is born thru CS operation because it is not his natural birth date. They are wondering if there is an effect to the child. Maybe the baby heard them, so I got contractions (I did not have one when I was carrying Sofia) and gave birth a day earlier. :D I am happy I felt the pain of contractions this time, at least I got to experience that. When I was in the operating room and waiting for the doctor, I asked the nurse why they haven't given me meds to put me to sleep (since I was asleep before I got to the operating room when I gave birth to Sofia). The nurse said that they do not give those meds because these will put the baby to sleep as well. I was so nervous, I thought that I'll sleep my way through the operation. I was thinking maybe I won't need those meds to go to sleep; I'm ready to faint anytime. Haha! It was another experience that I'm very happy to have though. I saw my baby as soon as he was taken out of me and before I fell asleep.

Sofia is proving to be the best Ate. She loves Jacob and is right beside him with the feeding bottle in her hand when she hears him crying. She reminds her Daddy not to kiss Jacob on his face, too. And when Daddy calls Jacob "Totoy", Sofia says, "Si Jacob s'ya, hindi Totoy."

I bet there will be a lot of stories to tell with Jacob's addition to the family.

Trivia: During my first tri-mester, I did not want to surf Facebook, Instagram, and blogging sites. Napaglihian ko yata. Weird! That is why I was not able to blog for a while. And when I felt better, I lost interest in blogging. However, I have more inspirations now to blog. :D

We are having major adjustments, but we are very happy that we now have Jacob.

Live, Love, Laugh with Family!
