Easy-peasy Tuna Pasta with Basil and Olive Oil
Hi Everyone,
I just want to share with you a pasta dish that Daddy and I experimented on. We were doing our grocery, and I told him I want to cook spaghetti, so we can use the parmesan cheese we have sitting too long in our pantry. He readily agreed, but he want to try something different. So we bought olive oil and basil, and crossed our fingers.
Here's the recipe.
Ingredients:
2 cans Century Tuna Flakes
100mL olive oil
5 cloves garlic chopped
1 red onion chopped
10 pcs. of basil leaves chopped
200 grams pasta
Parmesan cheese
Procedure:
1. Heat olive oil in pan.
2. Saute onions and garlic.
3. Saute the tuna.
4. Add the tuna oil. Stir.
5. Add the basil leaves.
6. Add 2 tbsp of parmesan cheese. Stir.
7. Season with salt.
8. Add the pasta. Make sure everything is coated.
9. Serve.
Cooking time was less than ten minutes. Preparation time was 10 minutes.
It was very easy. This was a no-brainer recipe. And the final product... very yummy!
Experiment: Success!
We have a new pasta dish that is light and yummy. Even Sofia, loved it! Try this recipe, too. Enjoy!
Ta-da!
