Sofia Turns 3, Celebrating Life and Love!

Hi Everyone,

"You are God's love wrapped in curls, laughter, and cuteness. I will forever be thankful He gifted you to me." -Mommy

I searched for a quote that I can use for this blog post, but was not able to find any that will express what I feel and think about my daughter. I decided to make my own.

Sofia turned three years old yesterday, and when I look at her, I am still in awe. Daddy and I brought her in this world with God's grace. She is a miracle, our little miracle.

Sofia, if ever you come across this post someday, I want you to know that Mommy and Daddy loves you. You bring us happiness each day. You are our teacher. You teach us how to be parents. And if you are reading this, I hope we have succeeded as parents.

Happy birthday! I love you very much, baby. As most parents wish, please, do not grow up so fast. :)

We celebrated Sofia's birthday at her favorite 'restaurant' -- Jollibee! We went to their Blue Bay Walk, Macapagal branch. This branch is still relatively new. The dining area was clean. The staff are also friendly. The second floor has several dining sections besides the function room, and we were able to get a secluded area which was enough for our group size.

We thought that Sofia would enjoy her day if she got to eat her favorite spaghetti, eat a cake, and play with her cousins. We invited her cousins, uncles and aunts from my husband's side of the family to celebrate with us.

After dinner, we went for a stroll. There were several restaurants already open at Blue Bay Walk - Le Couer de France, The Food Club, Conti's, Papa John's, Project Pie among others. There were also specialty stores and boutiques opened - Make Room & More, Payless and others. There was also a park nearby where a band was playing. The place has a relaxed ambiance and you can feel the Season of Love. There were lots of outdoor activities a family can have here. We laid our blankets, listened to the band, and the children played.

It was not just a celebration of Sofia's birthday, but also an early Valentine get together for the family...

And someone got a surprise... a bouquet of flowers!

Happy birthday again, Sofia. I hope you had a blast!

Live, Love, Laugh with Family!
