Pinto Art Museum - Door to Art Heaven

Hi Everyone,

Pinto Art Museum captivated me effortlessly. The entrance fee of Php150.00 per person was so worth it. It housed a massive collection of paintings, sculptures and art installations. It was a visual feast for anyone who stepped into its doors.
There was a little chapel near the entrance of the Museum. It was very simple. When I entered, it felt like it was only God and me there.
There was also a building dedicated for the indigenous art.
It was mostly oohs and aahs as we looked into one art creation after another.
The largest painting in the museum was "Karnabal". I had a hard time fitting this painting in the camera.
We almost missed this wing (because we did not make use of the map that was given to us). Good thing, Mama Dolly roamed around the area while Daddy and I were resting.
This was my favorite section of the gallery because the paintings here are more modern, "funkier"; there was a happier less serious tone.

This was my inspiration why I wanted to visit the museum - to have my photo taken under this signage. :D Actually, I wanted to put Sofia under the signage, but she was busy playing with the other art works.:D
This was one of my favorite paintings. It reminded me of my childhood. If kids were to be painted now, they would be holding tablets, phones and other gadgets.
This was Sofia's and my favorite spot- The Forest. The place was dark, dimly lit by the lights beside the "well". The sound of trickling water was very relaxing; good for meditation.
Even the restrooms had an artsy vibe to them. (And are very clean... with tissue paper...)
I've seen this painting before. I just can't remember where. I felt sad when I saw this. I hope I won't be alone in my decrepit years.
I definitely will go back to Pinto Art Museum (if someone will be willing to drive me there). The art collections and the refreshing scenery made the trip worthwhile. I could stay there and look at paintings over and over again or even relax in one of its cozy areas.
Live, Love, Laugh with Family!
